I was responding to a question on Quora about Déjà vu.
Can we not use it to predict future events?
It’s an interesting question, worth deliberation. Déjà vu is an occurrence of enigmatic familiarity - the familiarity of an event which has not happened; or let’s say – our logical mind couldn’t explain the happening. The concept is confusing, as our curriculum in modern sciences doesn’t cover Metaphysics.
Theoretically, Déjà vu can be used to predict the future in similar way as AI/ML/data science is used in predictive analytics. However, using it to predict the future is impossible with current tech gadgets. Human life works on randomness principles where probabilities and pattern science derive outputs vs. today’s computers having defined input/output mechanism!
Déjà vu instances can be processed if a framework is built around metaphysical concept, clubbed with a mathematical model.
The convergence of science with philosophy can unearth some inexplicable questions!
